We have to find ways to meet these needs, to find solutions to it including all people, making everyone feel accepted and welcome in different environments. After the presentation, we talked about the little park in our town, and how we could make it accessible to all kinds of people.

PRIMARY SCHOOL

Name of activity/workshop: I AM READING FOR YOU

This activity is organized for children with special needs who need additional support. The workshop was held in the school library with children aged seven to ten. Librarian and English teacher Ljiljana Kostandinovic read the children's favourite story in the school library. The pupils listened carefully, and then at the end, they asked questions and narrated what they heard with illustrations. They also described their favourite character from the story they heard. The goal of the workshop is to help children to read and understand the text, as well as to create a habit and love for books and reading.
